June 7th is one of the most important holidays this year that combines two of our favorite things: chocolate and ice cream. That’s right, it’s National Chocolate Ice Cream Day! What more perfect way to spend this summer day than to sit back in the sun and enjoy an icy treat in a cone or in a cup topped with an endless amount of your favorite toppings? To celebrate, here’s a tasty recipe you can easily make at home!
2 frozen bananas
½ cup cocoa powder
1 cup milk (can substitute for almond milk)
½ cup chocolate chips
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
Pour contents into a freezer-safe container until solid
Scoop into bowls or cones, and top with your favorite toppings! Yum!
