We love soaking up as much holiday spirit as humanly possible! That’s why we’re keeping the spirit alive with this delicious eggnog drink. While some consider eggnog more of a Christmas beverage, we think that you can (and should) enjoy it all winter long! That being said, we love this drink and it’s perfect for large gatherings -- think New Years Eve and beyond. Enjoy!

Chocolate Stout Eggnog

  • 3 quarts Eggnog

  • 1 quart Chocolate Stout (we recommend Samuel Smith)

Smoky Negroni

Bombay Sapphire is a staple at most bars, but don’t take the easy way out and serve it over ice with some Sprite. There’s so much more potential for a fun cocktail that’ll be unforgettable, complete with smoke to really wow your guests! Bombay Sapphire featured a video that goes through the process step-by-step, and it’s not nearly as daunting as you’d think.

Use Unexpected Fresh Fruits!

Everyone’s seen a Pina Colada in a coconut, but chances are, your guests haven’t had a bloody mary shot in a cucumber. Use unexpected fruits that’ll intrigue everyone and surprise them with the delicious combos that they never would have thought of otherwise! Strawberry margarita cups are an easy spin on a classic fruity margarita and they add a little bit of summer flair to your party, no matter the time of year, and it’s super easy to make a bunch at once for any size group!

Strawberry Margarita Jello Shots via Drinked In

  • 30 strawberries, cut and hulled
  • a small box of strawberry flavor Jell-o
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 4 oz tequila, preferably a white brand
  • 2 oz Cointreau or Trader Joe's Margarita Mix
  • sliced lime
  • sugar or salt

How to:

  • Cut the bottom of the strawberry just enough so it can stand up straight. Make sure you don't cut too far up or else you will create a hole in the bottom of the strawberry, and the jello will seep out.
  • Cut the top of the strawberry straight across, and then hull out the inside using a huller or melon baller. Try not to scoop too far down or you will hit the bottom and again create a hole for the jello to seep out.
  • Add the boiling water to the jello packet and stir for 2 minutes to allow sugar to dissolve.
  • Shake the Cointreau and tequila with ice then add the cold water. Add the cold mixture to the hot mixture and stir well.
  • Using a funnel, slowly pour the jello into the hulled strawberries. Fill all the way to the top.
  • Refrigerate the strawberries overnight.
  • Before serving, rim the top of the strawberry with salt or sugar. You can do this by dipping your finger in water and then lining the top edge of the strawberry. Roll the top of the strawberry lightly in the salt or sugar. Top with a slice of lime, and enjoy!

  • 1 lb fresh tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup Texas tequila blanco
  • Juice of two limes
  • 1-2 teaspoons hot sauce (such as Yellowbird Sauce from Austin, TX)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of cumin
  • 3-4 large cucumbers, washed and peeled
  • Salt for garnish
  • Cilantro for garnish

How to:

  • Puree tomatoes in a blender, press liquids through a sieve, discard solids, and reserve puree.
  • In a large pitcher, combine tomato puree, tequila, lime juice, hot sauce, pepper, salt, and cumin. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use or at least one hour. Be sure to stir again before stirring.
  • Slice a cucumber into 2-inch cylinders. Using a small paring knife, corer, or a small sharp spoon, start at one end of the cucumber cylinder and remove the core (leaving a bit at the very end) until the cucumber resembles a small cup. The walls of the cup should be thin, but not too thin, in order to hold more liquid. Dip the edges of each cup in spiced salt and fill with the chilled tomato mixture.

  • 2 liters ginger ale chilled

  • 4 cups pineapple juice chilled

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice fresh (optional)

  • 1 gallon lime sherbet

  • 1 block dry ice (used 5 lbs for a 3-hour party)

  • Large cauldron

  • punch bowl that fit inside cauldron

Break the dry ice into large pieces using a mallet or other tool. Be careful that you use gloves when handling it, since it can cause burns if it comes into contact with your skin.
Place some of the dry ice in the bottom of your cauldron. Put the remaining dry ice in a cooler nearby.
Pour some hot water on top of the ice so that it starts to smoke.
Place the punch bowl on top of the dry ice inside the cauldron.
Combine the ginger ale, pineapple juice, and lemon juice in the punch bowl, and stir to combine.
Add scoops of lime sherbet, mix it for a few minutes until the sherbet starts to melt, then serve!
Replenish the dry ice and hot water as necessary, to keep the smoke effect going.

Note: dry ice can be harmful if swallowed, so do not put it directly in the punch bowl or beverage cups.

  • 1 1/4 cups lemonade
  • 2 envelopes unsweetened gelatin
  • 3/4 cup lime vodka
  • 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • Green food coloring (green + neon green recommended)

  1. Pour lemonade into a small saucepan and sprinkle unflavored gelatin on top. Allow to soak in a minute or two. Heat on medium, stirring constantly until gelatin has dissolved (just a couple of minutes). Remove from heat.
  2. Pour in vodka and sweetened condensed milk and stir to completely combine. Separate evenly into three bowls or measuring cups.
  3. Using green and/or neon green food coloring, add enough to achieve 3 different shades of green. Start with just one or two drops – you can always add more, but you can’t take away. Suggested mix: For light green, use 1-2 drops green + 1-2 drops neon green. For medium green, use 2-3 drops green + 2-3 drops neon green. For dark, green use 5-6 drops green + 5-6 drops neon green.
  4. Place shot glasses on a tray and pour the light green layer into shot glasses about 1/4 of the way full. Put in refrigerator for 20 minutes. While shots are setting, cover the other 2 mixtures with plastic wrap to keep warm. If any separation occurs, simply stir again before pouring the next layer.
  5. Once first layer is set, evenly pour the medium green layer into the shots and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Finally, add the last layer and allow to set for at least another hour.
  6. When ready to serve, top with a dollop of whipped cream and gold sprinkles.
