Set Your Groomswear Apart Using the Pantone Color of the Year

We’ve been seeing the Pantone Color of the Year for 2018 everywhere lately, especially in the wedding world - Ultra Violet is in! Whether it’s hints of lavender in your centerpieces or bright and fresh purple florals, violet is a 2018 staple. We love the new trend of taking this fun color a step further by accessorizing with it, too. If you really want to set your use of Ultra Violet apart, try incorporating it into your groomswear!

Ultra Violet is a powerful color that’s sure to make a big statement on your big day, so have the groomsmen rock some purple pieces! A full purple-toned suit is memorable and would look stunning at a summer wedding. If an entirely purple ensemble is a little too much for your vision, add in small bits of a softer lavender as a nod to the color of the year.

There are so many options out there, too. Go for a patterned dress shirt with hints of violet, add a pop of color with a purple handkerchief, or sneak in a peek of lavender with some unique dress socks. You can even incorporate some bright florals for his boutonnière or add another bit of purple with some suspenders!

For more of a soft and romantic vibe, try pairing a light gray suit with a crisp white dress shirt and handkerchief. Top off the look with a lavender tie or bowtie and carry that same tone into your own bouquet for a seamless and timeless look!
